Wine, Beer, and Mortality in Middle-aged Men From Eastern France .this study from professor Serge Renaud was published in 1999 by “Archives of Internal Medicine”,this study showed that up to 4 drinks ( of 12 cl) of wine, the wine drinkers live 20 to 29% longer than abstinents. They have less stroke cancer, and other vascular related diseases than others,link to this study 
Wine, Liquor, Beer, and Mortality this study from professor Klatsky published in 2003 by “American Journal of Epidemiology” showed that after studying 128 934 adults during 8 years it was beneficial to drink wine instead of beer and liquors, link to this study .
